QA Lab Technician

Kelly Scientific is looking for a QA Lab Tech for a Food Company in City of Industry, CA.

The shift is as follows:

3 days (Wed, Thurs, Fri) at 12 pm " 8:30 pm " Swing shift
2 days (Sat, Sun) at 7 am " 3:30 pm " Day Shift

1.Familiarity with food product testing methods or related degree or coursework. Testing would involve:
a. PH, titrations, moisture, fat, protein, total solids
b. Basic knowledge of chemistry and/or microbiology
c. Dairy testing knowledge a plus
2. Ability to show up for work in a timely manner (quote from manager)
3. Computer literacy " experience with LIMs a plus, MS Office
4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
5. Ability to work in a fast paced laboratory environment


Desires a BS in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science. 1-2 years food manufacturing experience
